It’s the formal art of calligraphy with a pointed pen (pen with the metal nib with which you control the flow of ink with the pressure of your writing). Learn how to work with the pen, different nib tips, and ink to add a personal, hand written touch to any aspect of your life. Katie will guide you through the basic strokes and letter formations of modern calligraphy and give you personalized guidance and support as you practice. The class includes a pointed pen calligraphy workbook created specifically to support new learners and a pointed pen calligraphy kit to use during the workshop and take home for more practice.
