Katie's journey with hand lettering started unexpectedly in 2016 during a workshop called “Cocktails and Calligraphy.” That single class provided the foundation for her to dive into the world of stationery design.
Initially balancing the launch of a small business alongside a career in teaching meant her creative spark usually ignited late at night—quite literally, a little after nine o’clock.
Operating from Northeast Ohio, ALittleAfterNine blends custom lettering with delicate watercolors to produce completely custom bespoke art and stationery all created by Katie. This ensures clients receive artwork and stationery that reflects their individual stories. Katie is proud to offer completely cohesive designs--beginning with save the dates, moving into wedding invitations and completling the process with wedding day paper goods.
Katie's style reflects playful love stories with whimsical, colorful and elegant details and she can't wait to help you tell your love story on paper.
