Ariel International Wedding

There's something so special about a wedding that authentically captures a couple's unique story. Jessie and Jake's boho inspired summer wedding celebration at the Ariel International Center in Cleveland was overflowing with those personal touches that truly filled the day with love from start to finish.

View of downtown Cleveland from the rooftop at the Ariel International Center.

For those who are unfamiliar with the Cleveland wedding venue, The Ariel International Center is a historic 68,000 square foot building that offers incredible panoramic views of Lake Erie and the Cleveland skyline and their rooftop serves as the most incredible location for a ceremony.  Brides and grooms have the option to choose either downtown Cleveland or Lake Erie as a backdrop for their nuptials while guests soak up the summer sun in an intimate outdoor ceremony setting.  Jessie and Jake’s wedding day was filled with sunshine and blue skies which complemented their color palette and set the stage for the most magical wedding.

Industrial brick backdrops with vintage elements set the scene for stunning contrast with the bride’s dress and some truly magnificent photographs.  A summer sunset with the city of Cleveland as your skyline backdrop?  Perfection.

Beautiful backdrops are found around each and every corner of this gorgeous building.

We also loved all of the amazing “extra” space this venue had to offer.  The bride and her bridesmaids had plenty of room to get ready in a gorgeous, light-filled room, while the groom and his groomsmen had their own space to lounge and prep in.  These spaces allowed for plenty of getting ready photos to be taken as the photographer simply had to make her way down the hall.  The set up was really fantastic!

After the ceremony, guests mingled on the rooftop for an outdoor cocktail hour before making their way downstairs for dinner and dancing.  The reception space boasts gorgeous vintage details like a hand carved bar and more stunning exposed brick.  Guests got to celebrate the loving couple while watching the sunset over downtown Cleveland before white twinkle lights and candle light set the scene for dancing and an awesome party.

The bride chose to incorporate a gorgeous color palette including shades of rose, terracotta, navy and teal with touches of copper as an accent.  They included stunning DIY flowers from Moxie and the bride’s family friends gathered the week before the wedding to help turn them into centerpieces and bouquets.

It was such a joy bringing their vision to life through custom watercolor invitations and stationery. Every piece was thoughtfully designed to reflect their classic yet colorful style, with romantic details that felt true to their relationship.  Day of stationery included an awesome custom map of some of their favorite spots around Cleveland and a ceremony program that we turned into a fan to keep guests cool during the rooftop ceremony.

We had an incredible surprise visit from the Cleveland Guardians Hotdogs who came to dance with guests later in the evening.

Seeing it all come together at the stunning Ariel International Center, surrounded by their closest family and friends, was absolutely magical. Jessie and Jake's love story is one for the books, and I'm so honored I got to play a part in it!
